This farmhouse gallery wall family command center post is sponsored by Hobby Lobby.
Hello Friends!! I seriously LOVE the new year, and have partnered with Hobby Lobby to share this Farmhouse Gallery Wall Family Command Center with you guys today. Any excuse to get organized gives me all the heart eyes. I grew up going to my families 1911 farmhouse on our family ranch, and have loved the farmhouse style for as long as I can remember. You will love this family command center, even if farmhouse style isn’t your thing. Who doesn’t love something that can help your family get organized? We have three girls, and are about to add another little girl through fostering. So this new organizational command center is going to be a life saver for me!
Farmhouse Style Family Command Center Ideas
I have been wanting to style our kids hallway into a farmhouse style family command center for a while now. So I was super excited when I finally had the opportunity and time to get it done over Christmas break. If you follow along you know I am a farmhouse style gallery wall addict!! I also happen to be an organizing addict, and when everything has it’s place I am one happy mamma! PLUS organizing for the new year is never a bad idea. Everything hanging on this wall is from Hobby Lobby.
I was originally going to use dry erase paint, and have my husband build a frame for a large dry erase board. BUT when I found this fabulous oversized magnetic dry erase board at Hobby Lobby I fell madly in love! It is absolutely perfect. We didn’t have a place in our house for my girls to hang up their artwork and school projects … so this is fabulous. The hanging basket storage is absolutely perfect for their important school papers and things that need to be turned in. PLUS my girls are already loving drawing on the dry erase board. My husband and I are also enjoying writing notes to them, and posting chores they need to do…wink wink!
My husband and I always tell our girls we love them to the moon and back and to infinity and beyond, so when I found this artwork I had to use it for the farmhouse style family command center. The family rules sign was perfect for this space.
They Grow Up So Fast - Keep Track As They Grow
The large ruler is perfect for keeping track of my girl’s height throughout the years. I found this vinyl chalkboard roll at Hobby Lobby. You could also use chalkboard paint. I will probably end up removing this and painting it instead, because of the texture on my walls I keep seeing air bubbles pop up.
If you don’t have a long hallway to layout your farmhouse style family command center, then you could use smaller decor items for the wall.
This space in the hallway was looking lonely, so I found a bible verse artwork to hang here.
I hope you guys are able to get organized for the new year. Let me know in the comments what area of your life needs the most organization! I am working on sharing SEVERAL Organization tips and tricks over the next few months. I also would love to hear from you if you give this farmhouse style family command center a try.
