Farmhouse Christmas Tour 2017

Hello guys!! If you know me personally you are well aware that I am a HUGE Christmas lover! I start listening to Christmas music in September every year, and am always counting down the days until November when I feel it is socially acceptable to set up my farmhouse Christmas decor…wink wink. The last few years I had the same style of farmhouse Christmas decor (check out this post), but this year I decided to change it up a bit. I still went with a neutral Christmas decor color palette and farmhouse feel. I provided some shopping links throughout this post and a full shopping guide at the bottom of this post!

This Farmhouse Christmas Decor post contains affiliate links. Find out what that means here.

I can NOT believe we officially have 5 stockings this year! How amazing is that? Two years ago it was just my husband, oldest daughter, and I. Now we have added our middle daughter through fostering and adoption, and just had a baby girl in July. We are also opening our house back up to start fostering again this month. So we may have one more sweet girl before Christmas. God is good!!

Neutral Christmas Decor Fireplace & Mantel

These gorgeous stockings are my favorite!! I hope to find one or two more so we can keep them as we expand our family. I have found all of these at TJmaxx or Homegoods over the last few years. Currently I have not been able to find any more of these exact same ones, but I did link to some similar ones on Amazon above. I found these glitter initial ornaments for labeling the neutral Christmas decor stockings at Walmart. The awesome buffalo check frame is from TJmaxx.

Santa Claus might be my BFF … anyone else?!?! I grew up with tons of Santa’s in our house at Christmas time. My mom and dad LOVE collecting Santa’s. They have over a hundred Santa decor figurines, and their Christmas tree is an all Santa theme! I will have to take pictures and do a blog post on their tree sometime.

Advent calendars are one of my favorite childhood Christmas memories, and definitely a tradition we continue with our kiddos! Every morning in December when they wake up they get to open a new drawer counting down the days until Christmas. But before they open the drawer we try to sit down and remind them what Christmas is truly about. We talk about Jesus’ birthday, and about giving to those in need. I got this advent calendar from Hobby Lobby.

Farmhouse Christmas Decor Tree & Wrapping Ideas

I absolutely LOVE a flocked Christmas tree. They are my all time favorite. I always get asked how I decorate my farmhouse Christmas decor trees. For this years tree I started with a flocked tree, and then added the white fur deep in the tree to look like snow. Next I put in the twigs. Then I fill with the ornaments doing all of the large ones first and working down to the smaller ones. You can head over and check out last years tree and mantel for more neutral Christmas decor inspiration.

I love to collect tons of different white Christmas ornaments for our tree. I think it is getting a little full! Guess next year we need a larger tree.

Wrapping and decorating gifts is definitely one of our family traditions! Everyone in my family wraps gifts and has a hot glue gun handy to add decor to the top. When I was little that was my favorite part of my Christmas presents. I loved looking at how each one was wrapped and decorated. This year I used wrapping paper from Target along with a garland I found in the dollar section at Target and decor stems from Hobby Lobby.

Neutral Living Room Christmas Decor

I always remove some of my main decor and replace with a little bit of gray and white Christmas decor; like this adorable Christmas tree blanket. These super fun trees were bought at a local handmade market.

I found these pillows at my local TJmaxx, and I absolutely love them!! I’ve linked to other neutral Christmas decor pillows in the shopping guide at the bottom of this post.

Farmhouse Christmas Kitchen Decor

I took the boxwood wreath that is normally on our front door and hung it above our range in our farmhouse kitchen. I like it there so much I may just keep it up year round.

This little nook in our farmhouse Christmas Kitchen decor may be my fave! And I am madly in love with the wreaths on my barn doors below!

You can head over to the Farmhouse Coffee Bar post to see all of the details on this fab coffee bar, and find out where to get several of those items.

White and Gray Christmas Decor Entry Way

For the entry way I removed the majority of my typical Entry Way Decor items and replaced with neutral Christmas decor.

I absolutely love the look of simple mini Christmas trees like the ones on my console table above. I filled some of my normal decor with pine cones and greenery to give it a farmhouse Christmas feel.

Be sure to check out the complete shopping guide below full of fabulous neutral farmhouse Christmas decor items.
