TUTORIAL - Individual Cupcake Stands

Cupcakes are the new cake! Here is a tutorial that will help you showcase your cute little cupcakes in style! Mini Cupcake Stands are easy, affordable, and cute! You can make them in many different styles, shapes, colors, and sizes. Here are several different stands I have made and the easy Step By Step Tutorial for you to make them yourself!

WHAT YOU NEED

-Unfinished wood candlestick holder - They come in packs of 3-6 at Hobby Lobby or Michaels and other craft stores. You can use the thin taller ones or the thicker shorter ones. Don’t use too tall of ones or they will fall when you add a cupcake!
-Topper Part (wood circle, cardboard coaster, wood cut out shape, or anything else you can think of)
-Paint color of choice
-Paint brush
-Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks

STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS

1.) Paint your unfinished wood candlestick
2.) If your topper is a wood circle or wood shape cut out (Like the palette picture) then you can paint it any color you wish. Let it dry. If you are just using an already made circle coaster (like the black and gold image, or the Christmas colors image) then skip to step 3. You could really use so many different things here…a heart wood cutout for valentines, a flower for a summer party, use your imagination!
3.) Hot glue the base (candlestick) on the underneath side of the topper (wood shape or cardboard coaster). Make sure it is as close to the center as you can get it.
